Three Notch Trail
Three Notch Trail Phases I, II, IV & V - Provided design and construction administrative services for an ADA compliant pedestrian/ bicycle trail along the existing County railroad right of way property extending from Charles County through St Mary’s County.
Patuxent River Naval Museum
Provided construction project management and material testing for the construction of Naval air museum. This single-story building is unique with having free form roof trusses spanning 100 feet designed to support suspended displays as well as static floor displays. Provided consulting and management services throughout all phases of this project, infrastructure installation and remediation of hazardous materials encountered and the installation of foundation work for the current building.
Port of Leonardtown Winery
Provided project development design services for the conversion and renovation of an existing old State Highways maintenance building to house the Port of Leonardtown Winery. Assessed existing structure with recommendations for stabilizing the building and developing scopes of work for bidding to individual trades. CSBI acted as agency construction manager and coordinated schedule of work, materials, and various resources for the Town of Leonardtown in this multifaceted project. Bridged relationships with the Port of Leonardtown COOP and the Town of Leonardtown Commissioners to enable a successful venture.
Wicomico Shores Golf Clubhouse
Prepared feasibility study and existing building analysis of structural, mechanical, electrical, and potential to renovate. Prepared RFP for design build; supported selection of Contractor. Managed design process to meet needs of program and maintain budget. Managed construction activities throughout construction and building commissioning. Coordinated construction activities with operations of active golf course to include temporary facilities.
James A. Forrest Technology Center, Addition / Renovation, Leonardtown, MD
Provided management and inspection services with negotiation of changes, dispute management and resolution. This occupied renovation of building included additional shop, classrooms, greenhouse, and administration spaces. Also included were replacement of all mechanical, electrical, communication, systems with interior finish renovations.
The Gateways, Lexington Park, MD
Provided design phase services to St. Mary’s Housing Authority. Developed plans for a mix use design build complex consisting of 42 apartments and office space for Housing Authority administration. Developed programmatic requirements with Housing Authority to form the basis of design scope; reviewed design development drawings for constructability; designed concept and construction cost considerations with site plan approval. Managed bid process, construction, and commissioning of building.
St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office District 2
Provided construction and project management services. Coordinated programmatic requirements with design documents and navigated disparities between the two to facilitate most economical and functional solutions. Provided daily construction oversight to resolve various idiosyncrasies which developed over the life of project while maintaining quality and long-term sustainability; also provided value engineering to conserve budget.
